The following table of birth years determines the level of play for the 2009 season:
GIRLS BOYS
Sticklette (1st & 2nd grade) 9/1/01 - 8/31/03 - Anklebiter
PeeWee (3rd & 4th grade) 9/1/99 - 8/31/01 - Clinic
(PeeWee players must be 8 by 3/1/09) 9/1/97 - 8/31/99 - Peewee
Middie (5th & 6th grade) 9/1/95 - 8/31/97 - Middie
Junior (7th, & 8th grade) 9/1/93 - 8/31/95 - Junior

If the player is transferring from another county organization, Anne Arundel County requires a Player Transfer Form to be completed. The form can be found here: http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/coaches_information/resource/youth_player_release.pdf
Coaches will contact most players the first or second week of March. Most teams will participate in
a pre-season tournament near the end of March. The first week of the regular
season is around April 1.
